Among her responsibilities will be continuing to shape medical device cybersecurity by working with medical device manufacturers and healthcare delivery organizations in meeting the global regulatory expectations for medical device cybersecurity.
Michelle is widely recognized as one of the leading experts on Global Regulations, Standards, and Guidance on medical device cybersecurity and software, having led, or been a major contributor to the creation of many of the industry respected documents. Michelle routinely presents at a major medical device conferences, and served as an advocate for medical device security programs on industry consumer boards and government working groups.

Michelle, a resident of Grand Rapids, MI, previously held a position as Vice President of Cyber Program Initiatives at Nova Leah, where she was responsible for providing strategic leadership, training and education to the medical device industry, and thought leadership in the area of medical device cybersecurity risk management. Prior to that she spent 8 years at Stryker, dedicated to providing expert strategic quality and regulatory advice to global teams on topics including cybersecurity, software, connected devices, mobile applications, and wireless technology.
Michelle will leverage her strong relationships within the Medical Device ecosystem and extensive industry experience when working with medical device manufacturers on building cybersecurity into their medical device programs.

Ms. Jump has a passion for bringing technology-based solutions to healthcare, actively participating in a variety of domestic and international standards, as well as relevant industry and governmental initiatives to support security within the healthcare industry. Ms. Jump holds a Master of Science in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from California State University. She is also RAC certified and a Certified HIPAA Administrator.
